Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey in combat sports at the young age of fourteen. She studied boxing, kickboxing and wrestling prior to making her first amateur appearance at WCFC with Jaimee Nievera. Ladd felt more confident following this win and won 3 fights at Ultimate Reno Combat. Her opponents were all defeated in the 1st round. She went back to WCFC and defeated Leslie Rodriguez through a unanimous ruling. Aspen won over Silvia B beghian as well as Maddy Simmons prior to facing Cynthia Calvillo. Cynthia Calvillo handed Aspen the win in a single-handed manner and was able to outclass her, tarnishing Ladd's amateur career. Ladd bounced back from the defeat and beat Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to increase her record up to 8-1. Aspen began her career in the year 2015 when she signed to Invicta FC for her professional debut. At InvictaFC 11, she had her debut professional bout. She was a rout of Ana Carolina Vidal, securing a 1st-round TKO. The next time she fought, she won in the ring against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. She then fought at the weight of bantamweight in her next bout at Invicta FC 16. Aspen utilized her superior wrestling skills to take down McGill in third round TKO. The next fight was against Jessica Hoy at Invicta FC 18 at catchweight(138.1lb) because Ladd missed weight despite this Aspen was a dominant Hoy and finished her off in the second round by KO. Invicta FC 21, she took her victory in the final bout of the promotion with a unanimous decision. Her UFC debut was in UFC Fight Night 118 when she took on Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the second. Her next fight, against Tonya EVINGER at UFC 229, her victory was even more impressive. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first few seconds and earned a reward for the performance of the evening. Invicta FC fighter Sijara Eugenes, in a UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Lee rematch with Sijara's Eubanks, was the first match she had in any major way. Ladd took home the fight of the night bonus after both fighters fought a fierce fight back and forth. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie ended Ladd in just 16 seconds to end her streak of winning. Yana Knitskaya was defeated in the third at UFC 7 on ESPN. As a replacement, she fought Norma Dumont in her most recent UFC fight. The fight was lost by unanimous verdict.
